He and his family were displaced and relocated to Kuwait. Dr. Saad father worked as a petroleum mechanic in Kuwait. It is in Kuwait that Dr. Saad was raised and went to school.

Dr. Saad while he was still a young boy his father instilled in him the value of education. His father always reminded him of where they came from and that they were merely living like refugees in Kuwait.

Dr. Saad father advised him that the only way he was going to get out of that situation and get respect is to equip himself with knowledge and get educated. Dr. Saad Saad knew if he followed his father’s advice he would become anything and be anybody in this world.

Dr. Saad Saad one day, while he was still in school, decided to pay a visit to his brothers who were working as engineers in a construction site in Kuwait. Dr. Saad Saad visited them during the summer period that is characterized by extremely high temperatures.

While at the place the heat became unbearable to him and he eventually fainted and collapsed. After regaining conscious Dr. Saad realized that a heat stroke had hit him.

Dr. Saad from that experience knew he could not be able to work outdoors and be an engineer like his brothers. He then thought of a workplace that was indoors and cooled in Kuwait and the only place that came to his mind in the entire country is the operating room that is full of air condition.

Since that day Dr. Saad Saad decided that he will pursue a career in pediatric surgery and has never looked back.

Another valuable life lesson from Dr. Saad Saad is never to procrastinate doing something. Dr. Saad says that if you are in a position to complete a task today then do not wait until tomorrow. That is one critical lesson that has ensured that Dr. Saad remains productive in his endeavors. Dr. Saad has lived by this rule and as a result, has achieved success and has been able to utilize his time efficiently.
