With a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree from the University of Southern California, a Business Administration Masters from the Graduate Business School of the Loyola University, and a Ph.D. from the Colorado University, Dr. Deirdre Baggot has had quite the tremendous career. She has made a name for herself in the healthcare industry.

The career background of Dr. Baggot

Baggot spent a decade in the field of academic healthcare. She began in 1977 at the North West Memorial hospital where she was in charge of the management of the entire administration of the hospital. In addition to this crucial role, she also played the roles of resource coordinator and frequently that of a staff nurse. Afterward, she joined the Health System of the University of Michigan where she also served in a leadership role. She was the University’s analyzer of business as well as the administrative manager. It was during this stage of her career that she earned her Six Sigma Certification and an award for terrific leadership.

Deirdre Baggot then joined The National Consulting Firm where she worked for six years as a senior vice president. She has also previously held the position of senior administrator at the Denver Cardiac and Vascular health institute called SCL. As a healthcare business strategist, her job description includes advertising, procurement, and drafting, tasks she is very good at.
